TYMLOS doesn’t require refrigeration after first use. You can keep it at home or take it with you. When you travel with your pen after first use, you don't need to bring a cold pack with you — just keep your TYMLOS pen at room temperature. Only unused pens need to be kept cold.

Before first use, store your TYMLOS in the refrigerator between 36ºF and 46ºF (2ºC and 8ºC).

After first use, store TYMLOS for up to 30 days at room temperature, between 68ºF and 77ºF (20ºC and 25ºC).

Do not store pens with the needle attached, and always keep the pen cap on when not in use.

Do not freeze the TYMLOS pen or expose it to heat.

Tips for air travel:

  • Pack your TYMLOS pen in your carry-on luggage
  • Have a doctor’s note and your prescription with you
